James R. Kosinski, 83, of Laurence Harbor died October 21, 2017 at Atrium Care Center, Matawan. 

Born and raised in Weehawkin, NJ, James settled in Laurence Harbor.  Prior to his retirement he worked in the textile industry, most recently at Westhill Wallcovering in Clark, NJ. He served in The United States Army.

 In earlier years, James coached Little League in Laurence Harbor for many years.  He also served as trip chaperone on several winter outdoor trips with religious youth groups which he enjoyed.  He was a great gardener.  James enjoyed watching baseball and hockey.  His favorite teams were The NY Yankees and NY Rangers.  He also enjoyed relaxing to the music of Frank Sinatra, his favorite musical legend. 

Above all, James was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and uncle who will be missed by all who knew him 

James is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Geraldine, sons, Lee J., and Gary, daughter, Kimberly, grandchildren, Randy, Justyne, and Ryne, and several nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will be Wednesday, October 25 from 4 to 8 PM at Whiteley Funeral Home, 241 Bordentown Ave., South Amboy.  Cremation will be private.
